Skilled Nursing for Children
We provide pediatric and skilled Private Duty Nursing (PDN) services in the comfort of your home. Our nurses and aides are experienced in all levels of care, specializing in the pediatric and adult population. Our staff members are licensed, certified in CPR, AED and first Aid, and trained in Patient Bill of Rights and HIPAA.
We believe that all families should have access to quality care regardless of their financial situation. For this reason, we accept private pay and Medicaid insurance to make our services more affordable to families who need them.
Family Involvement
We understand fully well that parents and family members play fundamental roles in their child’s care. That’s why we carry families along at all stages of the child’s care, from initial assessment, care planning to plan implementation.
Family members are welcome to serve as paid Aide to their loved one. Contact us if interested in becoming a Home Health Aide for your loved one, contact us.
Services to the pediatric population include but not limited to the following:
Skilled observation and assessment of the child’s overall health and wellbeing.
· Development and implementation of care plans that are specific to the child’s medical needs and goals.
Monitoring and management of vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
Monitoring for signs of complications and reporting to the child’s healthcare provider.
Pain management.
Coordination of care with other healthcare providers.
Patient and family education on managing the child’s medical needs.
Coordination and management of home medical equipment and supplies.
